Uruguay: Clinched spot, Clinch first with win
Egypt: Eliminated
Saudi Arabia: Eliminated
Who: Russia v. Uruguay
Where: Samara Arena, Samara
When: June 25, 10 AM EST
Watch: Fox, Telemundo (TV); Fox Sports Go (Streaming)
Prediction: 2-1 Russia: Russia will become one of a first hosts to win all of their group stage matches with a close win over Uruguay. They have shockingly beaten their opponents, but also easily beating them by multiple goals. Uruguay could get a draw, but Russia will still end up in first.
Who: Egypt v. Saudi Arabia
Where: Volgograd Arena, Volgograd
When: June 25, 10 AM EST
Watch: NBC Universo, FS1 (TV); Fox Sports Go (Streaming)
Prediction: 3-1 Egypt: Will Egypt finally score a goal in the World Cup not from the penalty spot. I think so, with Egypt easily finding chances past the inept Saudi defense. Saudi Arabia will look for any consolation, including getting a goal of their own.
Group B
What's at Stake
Spain: Clinch spot unless they lose by 2+ goals AND Iran-Portugal tie OR Portugal loses by a lesser margin than Spain does; Clinch first with win OR tie AND Portugal loss or tie
Portugal: Clinch spot with win/tie OR Spain loses by a bigger margin; Clinch first with win AND Spain loss/tie OR tie AND Spain loss; Eliminated with loss
Iran: Clinch spot with win OR tie AND Spain loses by 2+ goals; Clinch first with win AND Spain win/tie; Eliminated with loss or tie AND Spain win/tie/loss by 1
Morocco: Eliminated
Who: Spain v. Morocco
Where: Kaliningrad Stadium, Kaliningrad
When: June 25, 2 PM EST
Watch: NBC Universo, FS1 (TV); Fox Sports Go (Streaming)
Prediction: 2-0 Spain: Spain will get an easy win, and with it first place in the group. Morocco has nothing to play for but pride, and will leave the World Cup goalless. Morocco's best chance for points is leaving Spain off the scoreboard.
Who: Iran v. Portugal
Where: Mordovia Arena, Saransk
When: June 25, 2 PM EST
Watch: Fox, Telemundo (TV); Fox Sports Go (Streaming)
Prediction: 1-0 Portugal: A score pretty familiar with Portugal, who won nearly all of their EURO 2016 games by this scoreline, will move on with Spain to the next round. Credit Iran for not giving up against Spain and Portugal, two European powerhouses.
