Round of 16: France-Argentina and Portugal-Uruguay Previews

Who: France v. Argentina
Where: Kazan Arena, Kazan
When: June 30, 10 AM EST
Watch: Fox, Telemundo (TV); Fox Sports Go (Streaming)
Prediction: 2-1 France: Lionel Messi's dream of winning the World Cup this time ends tomorrow with a loss to France. France have much more depth and with a great, young, creative, attackers and midfielders, they will eventually break through the Argentine defense to score some goals. Should Argentina win, we may see Messi play Cristiano Ronaldo for the first time in the World Cup.

Who: Portugal v. Uruguay
Where: Fisht Stadium, Sochi
When: June 30, 2 PM EST
Watch: Fox, Telemundo (TV); Fox Sports Go (Streaming)
Prediction: 2-2 (AET) - Portugal wins on PKs: Two teams that struggles with lower opposition meet each other for a spot in the quarterfinals. Uruguay played poorly until thrashing Russia 3-0 for the top spot, while Portugal have depended on Cristiano Ronaldo to get them through (it worked). I believe will finish some of their chances, and it will come down to penalties, where Portugal have the slight advantage.
Antoine Griezmann (#7), Kylian Mbappe (#10), and Olivier Giroud (#9) should be creating multiple chances tomorrow and beat Argentina and their frail defense.
