Group Stage Predictions: Part 1

Here are my predictions on who will make it out of the Group Stage, and into the Round of 16.
Group A

Russia	0	0	3	0

Russia will lose its opener against Saudi Arabia, as well as every other game in this group play. They will become the first host country to finish with 3 points or less, along with being the first to lose all 3 games. Saudi Arabia will lose to Uruguay and Egypt, while Uruguay and Egypt tie each other. Uruguay places first due to better Goal Differential (GD).

Group B
Spain and Portugal will play each other to a draw. They will also be moving on by handily beating their two lesser Group B opponents, Morocco and Iran. Those two will get their lone point by drawing each other. Spain places first based off of higher GD.
