Prediction: 2-0 Spain: The hosts' World Cup journey comes to an end in the Round of 16 against Spain. Spain have way too much talent, and, as Russia saw against Uruguay, they should be able to beat Russia by a comfortable margin without too much. The game may end with a 2 goal loss for Russia, but Spain could make it a big rout if they have great finishing.

Prediction: 3-1 Croatia: Croatia have a better midfield and attack than that of Denmark's, and will move on to the quarterfinals to (most likely) play Spain. Croatia's midfield is led by Luka Modric; Denmark doesn't have any players as recognizable as Modric. Should Denmark play great defensively, the 3-1 scoreline could finish in extra time.
